The Groningen Student Big Band (big band)

The Groningen Student Big band is a high quality jazz ensemble that provides local students the opportunity to play their instrument during their studies. It was founded in 2013, when some students missed the presence of a good jazz band. We play different styles of big band music.

At the moment the GSBB is totally run by students: the players, the board and the director Santiago Fernández de Madaria, all are students of differents institutes in Groningen.
